About Leon Pierre Felix (1869-1940)

Leon joined the capital to train at the National School of Fine Arts where some of his works from 1892 to 1897 can be found.

Felix exhibits very regularly at this salon, at the National Fine Arts, at the Independents and abroad, without forgetting the Perigueux Salons. Felix is known as a great portrait painter, and a ladscape painter.

Léon Félix was sent in July 1917 during the First World War on an official mission for the French Army of the Orient. On this occasion, he made many drawings and sketches of traditional Cambodian and Vietnamese outfits. His paintings on the theme of Indochina, however, remain relatively rare on the market.https://www.proantic.com/en/994410-leon-
