A original by L.S. Lowry, done with a black felt pen, on paper
Initialled, inscribed and dated, also signed and dated verse
Provenance : Originally from the estate of Pat Cooke, a life-long friend of Lowry's and artist in her own right
It is though that this was drawn on Lowry's last visit to Ireland with Pat and her husband in 1970.
And perhaps typical of his work that despite the beauty of the Irish courntyside,
he chose to sketch a men's public convenience.
